How long does it take to create a successful game? Unfortunately there’s no definitive answer. One year ago, when we were throwing around the first ideas in our roka team, all we could do is dream of that much positive feedback and support. The community’s wave of enthusiasm right after we released the first pre-alpha material has left us utterly speechless. Since then, we’ve been working together for around 10,000 hours on the game and are still highly motivated to deliver a special gaming experience to the community. We want to create a unique mix of adventure gameplay in the vein of Legend of Zelda and Stardew Valley-esque farming simulation. By combining these two elements we develop a world in which your achievements in a certain area will unlock new possibilities in another one.

The following video shows how far the invested time has brought us up to now:

There’s a lot to do on the islands — farming, fishing, cooking, building, exploring and even fighting! Visit our Steam page for more information.

Our journey has been very smooth so far and we hope that the last part of the way will be the same.
