Post news RSS Sticks & Stones build available in indiedb

After lots of hard work, we've finally finished a version that we can be comfortable of sharing with the world. It's still early, but when you're indie everybody tells you that you have to go out from the beginning, so, yeah, now seems just about right.

We've been hard at work building this thing we call Sticks & Stones. It has lot's of rough edges, but the core mechanics are there: procedurally generated stages, survival, crafting and some combat.

It's our first approach at getting feedback from the People Out There, and our future plans depend largely in whatever gamers say. That being said, we would like to ask that you please please give us feedback and spread the word. We've lots of ideas about bosses (like, maybe a Giant Squid), game contestants, and even giving the whole game a TV show look, with maybe a ticker symbol, something like a twitter feed, an announcer, etc; and we seriously believe we will only be able to have a good game if we have feedback from the players.

So, yeah. That's it. Hope you enjoy it.

You can also follow our Developer Diary, where we talk not only about the intricacies of how we do stuff, but also about what we're personally learning, as programmers, as artists and as a team.
