Just thought id stick a note up to apologize for the lack of news this week.
The project is progressing well and there has been some significant additions made to both the game and the engine, however most of those additions have been 'under the bonnet'.
Having said that I've added a new picture to the gallery showing some of the new stuff.....and a lot wrong which need to fixed :).
We have started implementing shaders into the game starting with displacement maps which have allowed us to add to subtle effects to our particles, for example heat haze on flame weapons and shock waves on area effect weapons which already look pretty cool, despite needing a little more work and we have of course been optimizing constantly to make sure we are getting the best performances from both platforms.
We have also been considering the 4 races which will be available to the player and there tech trees, the first of which we hope to also reveal next weekend...
Hopefully a couple of big weeks ahead for the project, so get watching!!
