Hey Guys,

Its been a very long time since this mod was updated and that is because it ceased in development so I just wanted to let people know about other projects that the team split to work on.

Iron Europe

Iron Europe is a WWI Mod based on Warband again but it will require the Napoleonic Wars DLC as it is using the latters framework. Rigadoon and others are now working on this (and I have no part in it so don't ask me about it). I'll post the info below:

Introduction
Iron Europe is a mod in progress for Mount&Blade Napoleonic Wars. We aim to fully immerse players in the brutal battlefields of World War I with new gameplay features, weapons, sounds, scene props, maps and animations. You'll be able to pick from a variety of classes with different weapon sets, strengths and weaknesses, allowing you to decide how you want to play. Then you'll be thrown into muddy, worn down trenches where you'll either be fighting off enemy assault troops, cowering from artillery fire, or preparing attacks to punch through enemy lines.

Some history of the mod: The first WWI mod for Warband to ever be completed was The Vast Fields of Europe. While it had many interesting features, it was killed by buggy releases and lack of interest. Several months after the death of TVFoE, the team created Battlefield Europe 1916 with a whole new vision in mind. Iron Europe continues that vision and we grow ever closer delivering a grand WWI mod.

For those who remember Battlefield Europe 1916
Well here it is. Battlefield Europe is finally back but under a new name and some changes. Big change number one is that we'll be making our mod for Napoleonic Wars. Also, Wolfstar has moved on so the mod is no longer under his leadership. Our goals remain mostly the same and we hope to deliver you a mod that makes the long wait worth it. Thanks so much to those who have followed us since The Vast Fields of Europe or Battlefield Europe.

L'aigle
L'aigle is another mod based upon the Napoleonic Wars but primarily aimed at single player modes however I approached Docm to work on the multiplier and I am doing so now. Info is below

The year is Eighteen-Hundred Nine and the Corsican-born Napoleon Bonaparte sits on the throne of the French Empire.
Napoleon's reign as ruler of France has been a period of almost perpetual war with some nation or another, and indeed France now finds itself engulfed by bitter fighting in the Iberian Peninsula.
Recognising an opportunity to reclaim land and the status it lost in previous wars, Austria, though it has sent no official declaration of war, launched armies at France's allies in Bavaria, Italy and Poland.
With Napoleon in Paris, command of the French forces in Bavaria has fallen on the shoulders on Marshal Berthier, Napoleon's Chief of Staff.
Meanwhile, an alliance of Spain, Portugal and Britain tries desperately tries to check France's advance into Portugal and southern Spain.

L'Aigle (The Eagle) is singleplayer and multiplayer mod for Mount & Blade: Warband set during the 1809 War of the Fifth Coalition.

Earn immortal glory in the clash of empires. Rebel against a tyrannical government and fight for freedom and independence. Make a living by robbing merchants and caravans or take to the seas and become a dread pirate. Forego military glory and pursue a career in politics or simply spend your life amongst high society. It's up to you to decide how you shall earn your name in war-ravaged Europe.

The Mod's Features:
-Battle Formations, including anti-cavalry square
-Military ranks earned in battle or purchased by commission
-Hundreds of thoroughly-researched and historically-accurate uniforms and weapons
-Campaign for mastery of Europe on a massive and detailed map
-New hand-crafted battle scenes including Naval Battles
-Tournaments and Arenas redone to include shooting, fencing and prizefighting
-Earn fame and glory by capturing enemy standards and presenting them to your regent
-Military Depots where one can purchase weapons and uniforms or hire trained specialists
-Graphical overhaul including new horse, textures, effects and buildings
-Hundreds of new troops, with such famous regiments as the Old Guard, 95th Rifles and Polish Lancers
-Strategic multiplayer battles, featuring numerous factions and tons of customisable classes.

And much, much more.

Anyway I hope you guys know where to go now and I hope you take interest in both mods as they are promising. Thanks for reading.

Wolf.
