ok, so, it has been a bit hectic over the past 4 days, been thinking about the new name the mod will need to take on, due to any possible legal issues, i was thinking of going with Quartz:Source, as that sounds pretty good at the moment, what do you think?

(EDIT: I am going to set up a poll on our forums with suggested names to rename this (due to possible legal reasons) so if you have any name suggestions for the mod, make a post here on moddb, once ive compiled a list of names, a poll will be created which you can vote on, after which the winning name, will be used, and the original sugggester will be given credit)

well, you wouldnt beleive it, the other day the source code i had bit the dust, yes, it literally bit the dust, i was compiling the latest build of the code the other day and what happends? all these errors start throwing up, somehting about missing files when they were there, the files existed but the compiler thought they didnt exist at all, i spent hours trying to fix it and got it knocked down to 2 errors, but i could not get rid of those errors, so, i had to start a new code base, dont worry, i can restore all the weapons, the weapon code is fine, just the main codebase went nuts, the good side of it all is, because i had to start a new codebase, i can make the code tidyier , so not everything is all bad

And we have a new member today, our new member is D.T, he is our weapons modeler, and does some charactor modeling too, D.T, Welcome aboard the mod team, great to have you with us and hope to see some great work produced =)

Also, our forums are now up, if you want to keep a track on this mod, check out the artwork and such, have a chat with other members, then our forums are the place to be, theyre not the most active at the moment, but with some more people, we can make it thrive, so do check us out, you can find us at: Quake1source.darkbb.com hope to see you there =)
