The level design is almost finished. Though, we are thinking of making some major changes because the level feels extensive and the difficulty is too high for a first level. The level design philosophy will stay the same as reported in the last article, we are only going to take away or replace all of the uncessary parts.
Last article we reported that the game artist left the project, but we found a new member to fill the gap. Her name is Sara Morgado and without her help, we would need to change almost everything for the game. She has a lot of work to do, from background sketches to characters, obstacles, collectibles and level assets.
We also need to create a small story for the character to have a reason to risk his life going through the level and face dangerous obstacles.
Next week, we are going to start the Game Design Document, User Experiences, refine the marketing personas and the production plan, create a story, a gameplay trailer storyboard and a business plan.
Thank you for following the development of our game!
