We're glad to announce the Shine o' Vice demo is now out, and on ModDB!
Shine o' Vice is a modification by Pistukas Mods, known previously for Frosted Winter, set in following the story of Flint Casie in 1987, coming to Vice City in pursuit of his brother's murderer(s).
Based on Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the modification aims to deliver a new experience for old and new players alike, including a whole new story, pedestrians, vehicles, as well as map edits/expansions.
Development having started 10 years ago by team leader BEGINit alone, years have passed and only recently has the modification had members of the modding community come and help out on the project.
Now things are underway, we have released a DEMO for people to try out and give their feedback on whilst we further work on the mod and its additions. The DEMO is based in Act 1 of the story, featuring various unique and difficult (to be nerfed!) missions for you to play through, however as this is just a DEMO it is very incomplete and all things in such are subject to future changes and revisions. Further information can be found on the download page.
Now that the DEMO is out, development will be focused on further revisions of things like Act 1 & on, new map additions, bug fixing, etc.
As of now a release date for the full version isn't known, so we ask you sit patiently as we work on it! Any updates as well as enquiries can be found either on our GTAForums page or our Discord.
