It's finally here!
The version 1.0.0 of S.C.T.F. - Professional Contracts - Definitive Edition is out!
EXPERIENCE CS 1.6 LIKE NEVER BEFORE!
S.C.T.F. - Professional Contracts - Definitive Edition is the updated and revisited version of the original version, released in 2015. It takes the Counter-Strike 1.6 original framework and tweak it to create and expand into a new experience.
- Two main gamemodes: Competitive and Deathmatch - fine tuned to be played both Online and Offline.
- Experience old maps with brand new visuals and updated layouts.
- New gameplay mechanics and refinement over the original CS 1.6 structure.
- Tweak your gameplay using Rulesets, altering core aspects of the game to create entire new ways of playing S.C.T.F.
Installing the Game
The instalation is very straight-forward. Just download the installer and run it. However, there are some minor things to be done before you start-up the game for the first time.
- Make sure you run the Game Launcher (GameLauncher.exe) as an Admin (Run as Admin command) to ensure that the game runs properly.
- There's an aditional folder inside the games files, called "extras", in which lies all the necessary Font Styles to be installed for the game.
- (Optional) If you never installed a Counter-Strike 1.6 in your computer before, run (in the Game Launcher) the "Register Game" action.
Disclaimers
This mod was intensively tested as a Single-Player BOT-Match experience, with all the Multiplayer testing being made over LAN or Hamachi. The Dedicated Server function is present, however was not tested.
You are free to test or reconfigure the game as you wish for Multiplayer experiences, even adding new plugins on the process. Just add these plugins into the "plugins.ini" file inside the AMX Mod X folders of the game "addons/amxmod". DON'T ALTER THE "plugin-sctf.ini" FILES AS THIS IS RELATED TO THE MAIN CORE EXPERIENCE OF THE GAME.

Cant this be a seperate mod ?
Iron sights !!
I've seen that I'm credited in the "Maps" section. Altough I've never released any CS 1.6 map to the public. May I ask what I've done to contribute to the project?
EDIT: I've seen that you've renamed de_nust2 as de_complex. I've personally helped Wheatley when he made that map. And I didn't like the fact that you renamed it.
You're also distributing a pirated version of CS with the mod since it doesn't run on Steam and there's a serial key activator in the launcher, hence it's illegal.
