Welcome to the release of the alpha of Runescape Total War.

Hector and I have worked hard to come far enough after weeks of hard week to get this alpha out. It is a fairly basic build but it still contains many things and roughly half the units for what is intended for the full release. The alpha is still a bit unbalanced but that is what it is for. I may in a few weeks release a hotfix if it is needed but other than that for the coming month or 2 no new units will probably be made due to the fact that I have not much time to work on the mod. However afterwards I will start to rig more models and make some completely new ones as well with new animations as well. Meanwhile Hector is improving the overall quality of the mod with his amazing 2D art skills. He is also the modder behind the map that has been teased the past few weeks. The map just needs to get factions added to it as well as its armies, levels of cities etc. which will take time but work on it will continue. Hector and I hope that you will enjoy this mod!

The credit for inspiration to make this for the design etc. is ofcourse Jagex' for making an awesome fantasy universe and game! This is a fan project and we do not ask for money in anyway to profit on any assets from either CA or Jagex.

Any way you could render these models in 4k as to appeal to the modern generation? I did not purchase a $2,699.99 Alienware M17 laptop with a 4k display and Tobii eyetracing last year just to play a mod that looks like an embarrassing time machine trip to the early 2000's. I get that you're trying to pay homage to the ugly and horribly-meshed world that RuneScrape occupies, but as a modder it's your job to break boundaries and be willing to above and beyond for the sake of creating a satisfied fanbase.
I appreciate the originality of this (even if you're essentially just stealing Jagex's assets), but most people on this website are looking for something that has a shine to it, so to speak. Either way, good going!

This mod looks awesome! Lots of hours of my childhood went to Runescape! This looks so epic can't wait to take over runescape with the Elves!

I never thought of Runescape for a Total War, and yet here it is. The funny thing is, it works, it fits, and its perfect. The low-poly artstyle really works.
