In the past few days we have been allocating all of our resources in upgrading Run Of Mydan to the new version of the unreal engine.
We decided to take this relatively big step in order to exploit the control over shaders given by the recently introduced forward rendering. With the ability to reduce some material features we are able to optimize the game extensively, and this will allow us to deliver builds with solid performance already at an early development stage.
Of course, this step requires a lot of effort from the whole team due to the amount of work that has to be revisited and repolished, but the results are coming out great and we hope to have everything running again within the next days.
