Lowriders that is, gangstas and nice cars featuring hydralics, wirewheels and street life. Whether in the projects or Pleasantville, it's a crime scene laden route left by gangsters, mafiosos, and drug traffickers.
Rival Playas will be a multiplayer only modern street violence game with full bot support. Rival Playas will consist of 3 teams in most cases: Street Thugs(Gangsters), Police(all types), and
Mobsters(organized crime). All teams will have a specialized arsenal of weapons at their disposal. The main goal for the demo will be to demonstrate the quality of project, also keeping in mind we
may be switching to half-life 2. Therefore keeping content that can't be transferred over to a minimum.
1: Hydraulics on vehicles.
2: Inventory weapons in vehicles(drive-bys).
3: Original random objective based gametype.
4: Specialized weapons and vehicles.
1: Street Thugs(Gangsters) - Team will consist of modern gang members. Baggy clothes,
bandanas, backwards hats, sleevless white shirts, etc...
2: Mobsters(organized crime) - Team will consist of well dressed professional looking
businessmen. Suits, slick neat hair, fancy clothes, sunglasses, etc...
3: Police - Team will consist of street level enforcement officers(serve warrants). Almost
regular clothes. Jeans, sunglasses, bulletproof vests, police tagged hats, shirts, etc...

1: Team Deathmatch: Your basic team deathmatch with 2 teams. Team with the most points wins.
2: Random Objective: Completely random objective based gametype using 2 teams.
1: Team Deathmatch: All 3 teams will spawn at different points in the level. Objective is to kill as many
people from the other teams as you can. Game continues til frag limit is reached or time runs out.
2: Random Objective: At the start of the game both teams will spawn at differnt points in the level. At
that time all teams will procede to a key capturing point. The first team to successfully capture the
the main objective will become the attacking team. Once 1 team is designated the attacking team,
random objectives will begin to be announced. The object of the game is for the attacking team to
capture all random objectives before time runs out. If the attacking team does not successfully capture
all objective before time runs out, the defending team will win. Random objectives and the key objective
will all be placeable by the level designer. Time limit and number of random objectives will be configurable
by the server admin.
This is a new mod and we're looking to fill in some positions in the following areas below. We're also accepting community contributions, particularly maps and characters.....so if you think you have the perfect map or character for Rival Playas please submit them to us and we'll include it when released.

- At least 2 character Modelers
- At least 1 animator (3dsmax preferred)
- At least 1 voice actor
