Lost Alpha: Definitive Car Pack Addon has become available for download!
The goal of the addon is to create a single pack of cars of the highest level of development. The game has completely redesigned car physics, which is very close to real, but with the preservation of some arcade elements that make it easier to control. Thanks to new physics, the car can maintain control on uneven roads even at high speed.
The new fleet includes many highly detailed and fully functional vehicles. Most of the cars are converted from other games. All vehicles were modified and optimized for Stalker. Each car has working doors, and most also have a trunk and hood;
New details have been added to all cars: working taillights, interior lighting, dashboard lighting, 3D instruments, shootable glass. Various animations have been added to parts of cars, a new system of car sounds, which includes new sounds of the engine, transmission, doors, wheels, skidding and slipping. Almost every car has its own unique sound, close to the real thing.
A well-tuned game balance has been implemented, in which transport does not create an imbalance, but is not a burden either. The engine has been updated, the transport code has been rewritten, fixing many bugs, adding new functionality to vehicles and improving interaction with them. Fixed and improved the interaction of anomalies with machines and the reaction of mutants and NPCs to machines.
Installation instructions
1) Install a clean LA DC 1.4007 - Google Drive
2) Delete the mods folder
3) Download the mod from the disk, place it in the game folder - Google Drive
4) For AMD video cards, take the fix from the AMD_Radeon_fix
folder
5) Additional mods in the mods_optional folder
6 ) Launch either from the launcher or start_release.bat
To work, the latest version of mods are required, which are on the disk : PRM weapon pack , shaderfixes , CGIM2 / extended weather
