In today's update, we will be showing you the goodies that you can obtain by capturing ECA Tier 1 tech with the Recycler.
The Recycler itself can be upgraded with a custom turret contraption of four heavy recoilless rifles that fire Penetrator shells either one at a time, in twos or in fours depending on the selected fire mode.
Second are canister cannons for regular Quad Cannons, which trade their effectiveness against armoured targets in favor of a lethal splash effect that shreds infantry and aircraft more easily.
And finally, Technicals can also be upgraded with canister cannons which, like the Quad Cannon, give them a very notable splash damage effect while reducing their punch against armored targets.

Time probably ranges somewhere in between of what you said
Doing the individual upgrade in a heat of battle is a poor decision, for you will just waste your resources if they get destroyed just in time as you finished upgrading
