
Quick Basic News! - September
100% apologies on a rather (non) professional news.
Hello ladies and gentlemen, that July news is very, very old. Needs some love, much love. So here it is! I (Lord Cylarne) just want everyone to know that version 1.83 is not the final version and mod is being worked on by either me or Necronguy. Feel free to contact the team (most likely Necronguy) for information about patches.

Also Lord Cylarne (me) is back for not long but some time. Any and all contact will be answered very soon, and the mod team is more or less on track reading complaints/raids/angry mobs. Updates will be given whether Necronguy will continue making the patches or Lord_Cylarne will help out fix stuff. A new update video of Lord_Cylarne playing version 1.83 will occur on his youtube channel. Some auditory changes will be mentioned.

What you need to play UA The Hunt Begins:
1. Dawn of War - Soulstorm installed. Any version (Steam or disk) works.
2. Ultimate Apocalypse v1.8, aka "The Hunt Begins" installer. Download from the download buttons above or:

3. Ultimate Apocalypse v1.84 patch installer. Download from the download buttons above or:Drive.google.com OR Mega.nz OR Mediafire.com
4. Install them, the patch after the main installer
5. Launch Soulstorm, click the Game Manager on the Main Menu and select: "UA: The Hunt Begins"What you need to play THB New Factions:

I really love UA, but I left to play game when include the absurd idea of avoid build turret outide the control zone, I hope reconsider back build turrets out the control zone (it's incredible difficult control an area for the IG without the turrets in everywhere of map).
Didn't they put deepstrike turrets?

tbh man the you can still make turrets everywhere, each turret projects just enough control zone for one to be place next to it (left, right, front behind etc) So it just makes it abit harder to do seeing as games ended up being who can spam the most with turrets, now that can happen still but not as much i found
Nop, the turrets don't project control zone nothing, if you want (with the IG) control some areas of the map it's not be posible if you don't have a Listening Point beside. I guess if the problem is the Rush Tactic this can easily controlled avoiding that turrets can be build in the control area of the enemy base (HQ or others buildings).
Well I don't know if you got something wrong with your version or mine because mine always project a control zone just big enough to place a turret next to, the same goes for all the people I play with
I guess you don't undestand me, I'm talking about the areas of the map where there not is Strategic Points to build a turret, you're restrained to create a defensive tactic. That's all.

Would the Adeptus Custodes be added as a special unit for space marines or as a faction? I would love to see them in action. especially considering they are the strongest infantry in the warhammer universe.
