We are still working on the site so please bear with us while we fix everything up. In the mean time, enjoy the new forums!
Its been almost a month now since our last post and a lot has been going on. So far we've been working every day to develop the idea of "What should define C&C4". There's been a lot of great ideas thrown around, and some not so great ones, but progress is moving forward. We're working on hashing out a few models and concepts, drafting the storyline, and coordinating everyone together.
Additionally, I would like to take this time to mention that a majority of the team currently has finals, so progress has been slowed to a crawl(er) this past week, however things should pick back up onces finals are through.
I know Coolness7 has got everyone's hopes up on the website. I'd like to take this time to say that development is still continuing, but considering the mod is far far far from done, there is no rush to release something half-assed to the community. That being said, here's what we've got so far:
A number of model concepts, gameplay concepts, unit ideas, wallpapers, etc. We also have a forum being built and a chatroom. You'll see all of this once the site goes live. Now, information will be intermitten at best on the site with the majority of the content developed as the mod progresses, but we still want to give you some eye candy so there will be a few things for you when the site does go live.
In the meantime, we still have our moddb page which you can visit easily by going to Tiberianeclipse.com (it redirects here currently). When the site goes live youll notice the url will redirect to our new site.
Also, incase I didn't spam it enough everywhere, we have a new twitter account! Keep track of our mod and daily lives at Twitter.com and watch the mod progress. This is a good way to keep in contact with us, follow development, and guide the mod as it gets further into development.
I wish I had some progress to show you ... oh wait, PizzaAtomica posted the floater ... *shrugs* oh well, aside from that I can't reveal whats in the wet works (not to be confused with EA's skunk works) but by the next post we should have a number of things to show off.
One last thing, we have a few vacancies we need to fill.
- Texture Artists (For some reason we cant find anyone to slap some photoshop paint on a rock)
- Modelers (I need about 2 more really good, fast modelers who can follow directions and respond quickly.)
- Website Admins / Moderators (When the website goes live, I won't have time to dedicate to running the site. Therefore I want to put it out there that I'll need a couple of people to organize information, make quality graphics with photoshop/illustrator, know HTML/PHP/CSS/jQuery, and generally moderate the site and the information being posted. This is a UPCOMING POSITION once the site opens.)
- Concept Artists (This is a call out to ANYONE. If you like to draw and generally fantasize, send us your concepts for consideration. Contributers will be acknowledged on the website. If your concept art is outstanding and you are willing to draft concepts from requests, then we may consider accepting you into the team)
Oh and before I forget, we may need a new Project Coordinator once Coolness7 sees I posted this ;)
Cheers and heres to the future of C&C!
