The main point of this poll is to figure out your preferences about development platform for our project.
In the recent past our team thought about multi-platform mod.
It means that you will be able to play our mod on WarCraft III with our models, updated game-systems and with DirectX 11 and you will also be able to play Armies of Azeroth on StarCraft II as well, which has great development potential.
But at the same time we don't want to take a risk. That's why we decided to have this poll here and give you an opportunity to decide which development platform do you prefer: WarCraft III? StarCraft II? Maybe both of them?

SC2 platform
I see no reason to do it in WC3 because it's now a dated engine, pretty much everyone can play the Arcade maps with starter edition so I see no reason to use WC3, also doubt you'll get the full quality of the new models and textures ported into that engine.
Here is a good reason why they should do it in WC3.
SC2 has better engine, and yes all players can play it with the started edition. But from my point of view it will be better, if they re-texture the old WC3. The devs won't have to struggle with adding campaign or recreating all of our favorite maps from WC3. Plus we'll be able to play most if not all custom maps from the hive workshop.
The fact remains that the WC3 engine is way too old. It would be a better inverted effort to continue to transform SC2 into a WarCraft game, mainly because the dedication of this team has shown it can be done. WarCraft III would be done sooner? Maybe. Would it be better? Dubiously.
I vote for the SC 2 engine as well, WC3 engine is just to old now by these days standards.
There is no reason for the Wc3 engine, just continue on the Sc2 platform.

SC2 is a better, more accessible engine (especially with the free starter version). But, honestly, just release something before I die. You had a working mod with half the races and then you took it down. Now there is some shittier version in its place made by someone else who is soaking up your glory. Except all they did was use the same ****** WC3 models from the old game. Your's is much better in every way, but I'm starting to believe you will never release this and keep it released.
