Well besides modelling, progress is booming. We are editing sprites and experimenting with them, making progress on the code (still secret ;) ) and the maps are pretty much done! So check out the forums to find out what you missed. Our current news post refers to console/menu splashes and the creation of our hleb folder. Expect an inteam soon! Note that we still need a modeller before the release of alpha, so drop by the forums and apply if you are interested.
