Hello again everybody, i'm happy to finally announce that Part One is nearing completion and will be available within the next couple of months. A huge apology for what has become quite a long delay, but circumstances that were entirely out of my control slowed up the development in regards to the voice acting, as well as a recent motherboard breakdown that halted the mods progress entirely for a short time. Rest assured though that things are now back on track, and i'm shooting for a late August, or (a more likely) September release.
So what's an update without media? Nothing that's what! So here a little something to tide you Sci-Fi fans over ...
In the next couple of weeks I will be posting up another video which will be a 5-10 minute walk through of certain area's within the story, which will give a much better indication on how the mod will play. I'll also be elaborating on other aspects of the mod which will include further info on gameplay features (WITH PICTURES!!!), the story, and the future (Part Two, and beyond).
Thanks for your continued support throughout development, i'll bring more news soon. Don't forget to hit the track button if you haven't already, and if you are interested I also have a Twitter account, where I post up to the date info on the mods progress (as well as other random junk).
A huge Thanks again!!

Looks amazing, trackin'it.. and as always Best of luck to'ya!
Looks really impressive for a Source mod.
Reminds me of Dead Space -- but this time you don't have to fight Necromorphs. I like the idea of an adventure game with things being more like a point-and-click, but with you still actually having a first person perspective, and full control over navigation.
If God wills it, I'll download it the day you post it on ModDB.
Excellent work guys. Tracking... nice to see a sci-fi space mod for HL2 that looks good and might actually be released. lol.
Just one guy actually ;) and thanks. I can assure you that Part One will most definitely see a release VERY soon!
The entire mod, but well done for a one man show on the trailer. It is easiest to work that way if you can do what is needed. Looking forward to watching/playing the mod...
You should see about getting this to be hosted by Steam! The only Source mods that Steam has so far are multiplayer, it'd be nice to start getting some good SP mods up there!
...
Tracking! :D
though everything looks cool, i see very little other npc's walking the ship in the cutscene's
i hope you make the ship a little bit more alive :)
Hey bud, i understand your concern that the ship may seem desolate but it's very much not the case (At least in the initial stages of the mod). One of the original design inspirations was a little known game for the PS1/PC called Sentient. One of the most endearing features was that the setting was so alive with the hustle and bustle of a "working" space station. This is something i have tried to emulate, and will be more apparent in the weeks to come :D
great trailer, really LOVED it!!

Nice Izi! :D
The voice acting is a little rough though, but it's to be expected, but good overall.
Good luck releasing the first part :)
I think on the most part all of the acting is fantastic, and fits the overall mood very well. My only irk is the wavering quality of each individual actors recording set up, but luckily it's almost entirely covered up ingame with soundscapes and the likes.
Either way at this point i have all the sounds i need to complete the mod and it's only going to be a short amount of time now before release :D
Thanks bud!
"wavering quality of each individual actors recording set up"
Yeah that's what I meant with rough, makes their voices come out "wrong" sometimes, but it's good :D
that guy at the end was the best voice actor i've heard yet in a mod.
Thank you :)
It's nice to see this mod - and it's author - still alive and kickin'.
It looks really great, I just hope you re-do the voice acting which didn't get that good (some voices are too loud, others are too low, could use a lot more work). Waiting for more!
During the production of the trailer, I decided it would be best to overlay the original sound clips on top of the game footage to make sure the voices were not over powered by the ingame soundscapes and whatnot, but as you pointed out I didn't quite nail it.
You'll notice that it's nowhere near as problematic in the actual mod, as a lot more effort has gone into equalizing each individual line either inside sound editors or using the mods sound scripting :)
Looking mighty fine Izzy! Glad to see you're still at it!
seems like a decent voiceacting...one more tracker on your tail
