There has been a lot of requests for some gameplay footage and some tech demos, I'm glad to present a teaser of what this mod has to offer.
Attacking with your Petcrab, an AI which fights for you, can you can directly control.
Preview of some of the abilities. The ghostgun will all be remodelled now we've decided to keep the weapon. Thanks for all those that have taken part in the play testing. looking great :) Which SDK did you base this off?
Its the hl2 episode 2 sdk (orange box), the l4d style of glow fits in perfectly with this game.
not being L4D? this can't be L4D if it wanted to try :p i mean this idea is totaly different from L4D
the theme is a lil similar to Natural Selection, but in Half-Life 2 style. I think its gonna be a successfull mod.
Seems very very nicely done. My only quarrel would be that you have some amazing game play ideas going on and that you should push the boat out with a more original story (rather than using head crabs and hl2 ideas) to reward the gameplay.
i like how it is all looking, i just have 2 remarks. but maybe i am to soon with them and will this be changed because this is a movie of a mod in development. still, i thought i mention them.
first; when you're looking from the viewpoint of the headcrab then you can see through the legs at each side of the screen. i do understand why this is, the camera is placed inside it, still it doesn't look well i think. and the second one is that it would be much better if you could make some changed to the gravgun, even just changing the yellow light would make it look much better. now it's 'just' a gravgun, with different powers.
other then that, looking great !!

So what's the status on your mod gladers?
It's been a couple of months since your last bit of news, I was kind of looking forward to seeing the demo out by now as it seemed it was almost ready to go the last time you posted.
I'm also looking forward to hearing the VO's I did for it assuming they are still in there ;)
