Preview: Guthixians news

The Guthixians are made up of 3 major races: humans, gnomes and dwarves. There's also the fairies but they have returned to Zanaris to preserve their own race. The Dwarves and Gnomes as the God Wars continued started to retreat under ground as well leaving the task to defend Guthix' ideals mostly to his human followers. These human followers who live like druids have established a reliable militairy order: The Void Knights.

For the campaign these void Knights will be crucial as other races will only supply man X amount of turns as long as you hold their settlements, so an example could be receiving one gnome rider and 2 gnome archers every 7 turns hat you hold Tree Gnome Village. Other powerfull units exist as well such as the Ents and Moss Gaints.

The basic militia upon which the dwarven army call upon when being attacked are the sturdy dwarven miners. These dwarves will swing their pickaxe at anything.

Druids are the human followers of Guthix. They have preserved the way of balance for thousands of way and will not shy away from using force when being attacked.

Basic gnome militia equipped with bronze axes and wooden shield. These are recruited fom the ordinairy gnoem folk. Eventhough they are not as powerfull as humans or dwarves they may outnumber both in numbers.

The dwarf forces wear heavy armor from head to waist and use hammers to smite down their foes. The dwarven warriors are very capable warriors and are excellent vanguard warriors.

The kingdom of Keldagrim has its own elite force: The Black Guard. Like there dwarven brethern they use big shield and hammers but use a dark metal to forge their armor and weapons.

A special type of unit that the Black Guards deploy are the Black Guard Berserkers. These berserkers use two-handed axes to swing at their foes.

The very elite knights of the order use special curved blades to bring balance. Unlike most other knights however the bulk of their armor is made of leather rather than heavy plate armor to balance the attack and defence capability.

These dwarf forces wear heavy armor from head to waist and use crossbows rather than hammers to keep their enemies at a distance. The dwarves can deploy some of the finest crossbowmen in all of gielinor.

Rather than taking the enemies head on the stalkers prefer to use distance to their advantage to rain arrows on the enemy before sneaking behind enemy lines with their daggers.

The more experienced and elite units of the gnomes use javelins and spears to fight their foes on the battlefield. To increase their own mobility they ride on terrorbirds providing guthixian forces with much needed cavalry support.

The ents are at first sight just trees until you see them open their eys and walk around or even more terrifying: using their branches to launch enemies in to the sky!

Moss gaints resemble the gaints deployed by Bandos but these gaints are made of leaves and trunk rather than meat and bones. The moss gaints are the most powerfull shock troops the Guthixians can deploy.
