We have a bug, dont turn off HDR!
We really didnt realize when we will done with it but today is a GREAT day for you guys and for us as well. All of you guys now can play full version of Alchemilla game and smell Silent Hill stench as much as possible.
So we have an ADVENTURE type game in Silent Hill universe with NO MONSTERS and NO GUNS, MELEE. We wanted to implement these features strong enough and we searched for people for the last days and sadly didnt find any who could help us to do this quite well. It is very sadly for us too. We dont apologize for this cause we did all what we can.
In our game you will not find inventory system or notes system and the reason the same - there are no people who could do that on Source engine (people start to hate it cause it outdated). So just sit tight, take pen and notebook and play as hardcore gamer, make notes yourself, draw your maps yourself. If you Silent Hill fan - you should deal with that.

P.S. This game will also available for Mac and Linux soon. Also, Oculus Rift device will work with it too.

Shame that the combat couldn't be implemented, but I always thought that what really sets Silent Hill games apart from other survival horror games is the story and atmosphere. Can't wait to play.
so far i am so immersed i forgot about combat. but i was thinking the same thing, for me at least a little bit of combat and a certain threat out there would've made it even better.

Yes, I can't wait, Silent Hill was my childhood game, and I believe it's one of the best horror series out there, it seems like you guys did a great job on it by looking at the pictures of this game, man... You guys are awesome! :D I CAN'T WAIT! xD

Unfortunately my computer is experiencing issues at the moment so i'll have to hold off a bit. But in the meantime, time to watch those walkthroughs!

Nice atmosphere so far... and already stuck.
In the hospital, i'm missing a tool to ged rid of the screw shutting the toolbox. Also missing a piece for a valve in the basement. I guess without these, i won't be able to restore the power for the elevator (and electronic lock) or repair the sink in the kitchen.
read the notes that are laying around, this will give you the hints you need! (counter at the entrance)

Maybe in the future... if you end up getting some people interested in doing monsters... you could do patches and updates. But... in the end, that might be more work than needed. Anyway, I'm waiting for it to be done downloading... can't wait to play it! :D
I had no problem until I went into the other world. I gotta say I'm completely confused now. There's numbered panels on the walls, and messages that seem to correlate to those panels, but I guess I'm an idiot. I just can't seem to figure it out haha

You could have posted a help ad on reddit or 4chan surely there are people who could help make monsters for the game not like you'd need advanced AI monsters in SH are usually typical run at you things

There is something wrong with the games audio for me. It makes loud screeching noises randomly when I move around.
I love this game by the way! Good job with this game dudes! I wish in future updates or a sequel that you guys get to include combat, weapons, guns, pipe weapon, an item menu, map, etc. Could you guys also include a jump ability. That would make this more fun! Other than that! I really like this mod! I give this 10/10 Robbie the Rabbits!

Well, I am playing this mod and it looks awesome, but "Silent Hill" game without killing monsters or weapon is very weird... Now I am still at the Otherworld hospital and I don't know how not to die during encounter with those creatures jumping from the floor. Any ideas?

This is more of an 'art project' than a 'game'.
The concept of it being a 'game' would mean that it includes failure states.
Which it doesn't.
In theory, this is just a 'spooky scary skeleton's haunted house' version of Dear Esther.
Despite the amazing work on assets, textures and scripting, I can't plow through this game on atmosphere alone, not even if I love Silent Hill.

I have to mention that a game dosn't require a failure state to be a game (like many puzzle games). In fact, this mod actually has a failure state. You can fall down a few pits and die

Has anyone been able to figure out why some have 'k's missing and others are completely fine? Mine is missing 'k's! :(
