A short celebration before the 100+ hr work weeks :) We were greenlit and we were able rise to #19 on the charts before being pulled for Greenlight!
A big thanks to all that have supported us during the campaign and we plan on delivery exactly what we set out to do. We appreciated all of the feedback and listened closely to what the community wanted.
Since that time, we have been looking to upgrade our Engine which would allow us to break free from our current engine constraints. Like getting hit by a Mac truck, we ran into the Unreal Engine 4.0 when it got first released.
After much debate and testing, we decided to jump with both feet into the Unreal Engine and stop immediately developing the demo for Source. It was a hard choice to swallow since the game was about to release the demo, but we felt the benefits outweighed the development delay.
The whole team starting watching hours and hours and hours.... of videos, twitch streams, and sorting through numerous pages of documentation. As we learned and started building the base systems, we have come to the conclusion that we have made the right choice!
We are very excited about the current power of the new engine and its future tech. We are nearing the point "of where we were" day by day and hope to start sharing more frequent dev updates very soon!
Thanks for the support and stay tuned for more updates! :)
