Recently ive been working on some concept art for planets that will be seen in the background of the custom maps included in the mod, for both single player and multiplayer game modes.

Concepts so far and a little included information on each:

Hethlim-
Population: 300 Million natives, 100 Thousand Vaygr

Hethlim is a frozen world located within Vaygr space on the outer rim of the galaxy. It is surrounded by a dense ice field that makes travel to the planet very difficult. During the war against the Vaygr, Makaan discovered the third hyperspace core in the Hethlim Ice fields, and so the people of Hethlim have suffered a long and harsh rule under Vaygr occupational forces.

Ar'than Tel-
Population: Formerly over 2.5 Billion Taiidan, Presently 0

Ar'than Tel had long been a hub of trading activity for the Taiidan Republic, until the Tiamat hyperspaced into the system and burned the surface of the planet. Now Ar'than Tel is a barren world covered in the ruins of once great cities and the ashes of its former beautiful natural landscape.

Tiamat-
Population: Unknown, in the billions before the Tiamat left the galaxy.

The planet Tiamat is now a ghost of what it once was. 10,000 years before the Hiigaran empire even exhisted, the Tiamat lost a war against the Bentusi, who bid the Tiamat leave the galaxy and never return. Now the planet orbits a dying star, and massive towers and alien technology cover most of the planet's surface, making it a popular destination for plunderers seeking to make a fortune.

The planets listed above are the planets that I have concepts done for, some planned future additions are:

Hiigara (a renewed look)
Frerrn - Frerrn Aggregate Homeworld
Taiidan - Taiidan Homeworld
Vay - Vaygr Homeworld
Kharak - Not much to look at since being bombarded by the Taiidan :P
Nalthor - May or may not include the Port of Nalthor

Any suggestions or additional thoughts, please leave a comment. Thanks
