Inquietude has one major plot, but it also has multiple side stories that distinguish it from all the others.

Let me start off by stating anything that I said that 'Inquietude' was associated with 'Team Psykskallar' apparently that wasn't true. I was misinformed and it has been corrected. However, a name of a team won't make Inquietude any different. It just empowers me more to make something that exceeds that name and make a name for not only myself, but for Inquietude as a whole.

As you can see in this trailer, Inquietude is extremely cinematic and steers away from typical mods released to this day. Now, I have got myself in trouble by comparing it to other mods, so I will not only apologize for doing so, but just know that I want nothing to do with any other mods/games being compared to Inquietude. Inquietude may have it's similarities to mods here and there, but they are unintentional unless stated so; in the developer commentaries. Inquietude has been compared to Slender, which is not only offensive to me and it is extremely disrespectful, it just goes to show how much Inquietude will take people by surprise and make them realize why Chapter One takes place in the Strain Forest.

"Paper Flowers Abductions" is a case of serial abductions that takes place in Inquietude within a 8 month period, and the suspect keeps in contact with the police in a very intricate way.

I also want to say that from now on, Inquietude is going into a "Hiatus from the Public" as I hate to call it. Inquietude is becoming something that I was over-ambitious in the beginning and everything is coming to life after almost 2 years. Now what "Hiatus from the Public" means is that I will do my best to show little media to the public until things (in my eyes) are 100% and actually mean something to Inquietude's story, and is pivotal. I've had a problem with the past and being really immature to the community and I really apologize with that. It makes Inquietude look like it's a mod made by an idiot.

Now some people may still think that it is made by an idiot. :biden:

Haha, but I also want to say that I appreciate every single one of you. Whether you be someone who is following Inquietude in spite of me and hoping for failure, you're still doing me a favor and still reading this. I love you guys, and I am making this mod for you. From now on, feel free to give me constructive criticism because it's not fair for me to deny anything for a mod that's made for you.

Thank you guys so much. ♥ -Brandon

Wow. Great post, great attitude.

Many devs seem to forget what you write in the last chapter. Mods are for the public and that's why it is important to listen to the opinions, the good and the bad. Some people only welcome generic compliments without content, when the real input is in the negative feedback, that is what takes you forward and towards better quality.

People will always compare. Even if the mod starting points were similar, the mods and games never turn quite alike in the end. I don't know exactly what kind of comparisons have been made but mostly you could treat them like opinions and feedback. If people are making out of place comparisons then maybe it's simply because they don't know as much about your mod as you do yourself. You can dismiss them easily by coming forward with the facts and as you are the main developer people will have choice but to listen to you. You are the one who knows best about your mod and if it can be compared in some respect or not.

I'm sure those who were expecting an apology from you are pleased as well. Your humble attitude should get you far and not only in ModDB.

I agree that it's not fair for some of the people to compare Inquietude to Slender, since Inquietude has been in development long before Slender came out. I personally like Slender, but I don't find it amazing as the majority of people find it to be.

Next time, put a loud noise disclaimer on a video when you want to use another screamer tactic.

Some of us can still hear near 20 Hz and KHz.

As much as this may seem courteous to people, I feel that it really doesn't make it scary and startling as just having it show up suddenly. Inquietude starts off with a disturbing warning disclaimer, but anything else is really a given with a horror mod or a movie, even.
