It's long been a part of the way that we develop Judgement that if something looks wrong in the way HL does something, then we try to replace it.
Our latest bit of tweaking is that the flashlight no longer always points straight ahead. This always looked kind of daft, especially given that ours is attached to a shotgun, which definitely moves around.
So now the torch actually shines out of the front of the shotgun, so when you lift the shotgun during the reload animation, the torch light moves too! It sounds a really small change, but it makes the torch seem so much more real. We've also coded in seeing other peoples torches, something else that I always wanted to see.
