Despite a lengthy absence from the Doom III mod scene, a load of problems with hosting and a server crash, OpTD is still going strong. After about a month of redesigning and tweaking, we're happy to present the OpTD Site v2.1. Here's a list of some of the new features implemented:
- Membership -
You can now register an account for the OpTD website, which allows you to vote on the polls, post comments under your registered username and, in a very short time, post on the OpTD forums.
- Site Poll -
We now have a poll on the sidebar in which registered members can vote. Poll questions will be mostly mod and site related, so we can get a good idea of public opinion which will help greatly in the development stage of the mod.
- Journals -
Some of the OpTD team members will be given a journal in which they can post regularly on the progress in their field. We've implemented the journal idea so that regular development news doesn't clutter up the main news page. You can keep track of recent journals by watching the Journal section of the sidebar.
- Forums -
We're still in the process of testing the OpTD Forums, and they should hopefully be up and ready in the next few weeks. Stay tuned ^_^
That's pretty much all that's new around here. For those of you who are new to the site, it's pretty self-explanatory; Site/Mod/Media links to your left, Poll/Journal/Affiliate links to your right.
