This is the second installment in a series showcasing maps designed exclusively Operation Market Garden modification for Company of Heroes. Our next map, Carentan, was created by Spartan 11793, one of our most prodigious mappers. It accommodates six to eight players, and is one of our 35 exclusive maps. Its urban design allows for a long and bloody game as you and your teammates battle for each building and every inch of ground. While it is urban there is still plenty of room for tanks and other vehicles, which you'll find constantly skirting between buildings to avoid anti tank gun shells.

In World War II Carentan became famous as it was setup as a German strong point that was captured during the first week of battle of Normandy in hard fighting between the 10-12th of June, 1944 by the 101st United States Airborne Division. This map is based on that town.

OMG (Operation Market Garden) is a persistent multiplayer only modification. We've expanded into Opposing Fronts' factions, added new and exclusive maps, and added Tales of Valor and new unique units. We're adding deep and useful veterancy bonuses, new doctrines and an interactive war map. We put a strong emphasis on balance, community, transparency, and fun. We are currently in an open Beta, and are constantly improving, adding new OMG features and content.
