Jump into the fun world of BattleClients! In this game you can fight in different area wars. You can also buy and sell weapons that you choose. I hope to get this game ready by mid 2020. Until then, I will be working on the weekends to keep adding new things into the game. Will start devlogs soon!

I will be starting devlogs as soon as I can. I have a feeling that I will have a lot of fun creating this game. I will announce the YouTube channel that I will put videos on. This game is made from a custom engine that I got from books and online tutorials. It was made with Opengl. I really hope that you enjoy the game when it is released.

Ok everybody! I have just added a title screen that does a few things such as resolution and start/quit game. I will do another update tomorrow!

Added a help button that displays the basic controls for the game.
Added fog.
Added Transparency.
Have not yet added new tree models. Will create some later today.

Added fog, multitexturing, collision detection, mipmapping, a 3d camera, and height maps for some hills. Tomorrow, I will add in a sky box, some more lights, day/ night cycle, and whatever else that I can find. after I have finished adding all of those things to the game, I will start working on networking. I also need some help on making 3d models because I am just learning now how to use blender 3d engine. (I have not learned it yet... But I am in the process.) Wish me luck and comment on anything else that you guys thing that I should add to the game. I will add some secret 3d models into it as well such as an arena(which I was not planning on announcing). Last thing... I will start working on a game website so everyone can see the latest updates even though I will also announce them on this site. It will probably be finished in a few months.

Alright..so I figured out some multiplayer and learned blender. I am remodeling the game in jmonkeyengine. I am almost finished... Wish me luck, everyone!!

P.S. I am still using LWJGL with jmonkeyengine; so don't get the idea that I am quitting. I am just doing better(sort of) graphics.

I have added basic attacks. I have thought about it and thought about it some more. I have tried out cel shading, normalmapping and particles(which is how I created attacks). I will later add shadows using shadowmapping and try to export the game. I have also added on screen text! I will see what I can do next besides look up multiplayer and some other stuff. I will be back tomorrow

Update June 10, 2018

The project is officially halted... I lost most of the source code due to viruses and me deleting several files that I thought were viruses. I eventually just factory reset the computer, which had a dramatic increase in performance when I booted after the reset. I lost like 50 projects I had been working on in Java and C++, but most of them were either just me rendering an image, me rendering a terrain, or just other random programming techniques that I was messing with. Me losing the game was the biggest issue.

I did this reset in late June to early July 2017 (it was a year if not almost a year ago).

My account is not dead, but the BattleClients project has been halted, and will be restarted later.
