We have some problems with developing games on RunEdit so now it's discontinued and released as open-source under BSD License. Please read readme.txt before using, the file contains all necessary data. Please begin using RunEdit downloading The Long Way demo, because it contains all needed models and materials.

The editor has a couple of disadvantages - it crashes and it's not comfortable. Also, it looks like 8-bit.(I'm a fan of 8bit) Although, it has an original GUI, edit mode, and a method of scene mapping. It allows loading Ogre's DotScene. If you have a little knowledge on coding, you can make this editor work for yourself very easy, the source code is very little and easily understandable. Uses Ogre3d.

what a shame guys that you have stopped the developing of this engine, although i do understand it. when it doesn't work flawless and it can't be fixed then maybe it s better to start from scratch, thanks for letting us in on this hard decision that you have to make.

No no... We haven't stopped the development of engine, it's only a tool for making games! It's a mapping tool! I plan to code an another tool. The engine is an another solution and has it's own source code.
