It's been a long dev cycle working on nova-111. It started as a very old-school roguelike, not far removed from nethack with sprites. We stumbled upon the idea of mixing real-time mechanics by accident and kind of rolled with it. So after a long nearly two year dev cycle of building content and moving country we're about to ship on steam. Exciting times!
