Hey there, just outta let you know that this is my first mod that I have have been slowly developing since September, and I think it's about time I let the word out. For more information I suggest you take a look under the mod's summary page.
The mod is set in the Half-Life universe, mostly because it's my first mod and I didn't want to get ahead of my self. But I tried making up for it by staying away from the main HL2 plot as much as possible and just using the Half-life universe as a base for the mod's plot.
As of now all of the media was created by me, but positions are open to almost any talented people who would like to help the mod out some times.
Now by getting all of that out off the way, below are some screens of the mod's first chapter,
Dead Drop. It is mostly based on abandoned structures that I have explored near my home town.

Progress so far:
-Revamped the sounds (new footsteps, gunshots, explosions,...).
-Recorded my own soundtrack.
-Added view bobbing.
-Removed the crosshair.
-Added a new weapon and item pick-up system.
-Added lowering weapon when sprinting.
-Made the flashlight nonchargeable.
-Added flashlight battery pick up.
-Reskined player hands to a more Combine look.
-Added new, more realistic looking muzzle flashes.
-Replaced the stock blood decals with more realistic ones.

impressice mapping, you have a good sense of atmosphere and image.
Please loose the view bobbing, it sucks if you ask me. :)
Great project though, i just hope some-one can help you make some cool models to make the Mod really stand-alone from Half life 2.
But first finish what you want to finish ... and take your time, peace
