First I'm still alive and so is this mod. I was facing the burnout wall so I took a step back to wait for the next version of CSRP. Decane is trying to get it released by the end of the month. Once I have it I'll start working on this project again.
I think I'm just going to release this as a "basic" overhaul first. It'll be the scripts, new NPC models, re balancing of gameplay, configs, textures etc. I'd like to get all the weapons done with their various scopes, but its taking forever to do it. The weapons that ship with the release are just going to be the new meshes/animations and a PSO variant.
After that I'll finished up the scope variants while I'm working on modifying the levels. I've been screwing around with the level editor and I really want to replace all the vegetation with the models from lost alpha, they're just so much better. Darkscape, Pripyat(from CoP), and underground will get added in at the same time. Pripyat is done right now, but Darkscape and Underground have no spawns so they need to be populated.
Of coarse, if anyone already has the knowledge/time to to the level work(or any other), PM me.

May is about to end, And its been a while since this news were posted, how has everything been going?

New version of CSRP is out....there is so many changes and bug fixes that I think I have to recompile the mod from scratch. Looks like it solves ALOT of the last of the bugs though so I think its worth it.
