1.9 would be like the Emperor resurrecting from the golden throne. Also did they remove maps in 1.88.72? I really enjoyed the Sands of Time but I could not find it in the map selection screen

The patch makes the game crash as soon as the ultimate apocalypse splash screen appears. Any one else having this problem?

I've had a lot less crashes since the patch but Orks still seem to be borked.

Absolutely loving all the new upgrades, changes and additions.

But is anyone else experiencing AI that builds a small mid/low strength army rushes really quick and for the rest of the game doesn't even try to build a force again? I've noticed thats the only tactic all AI factions are adopting they just build 5-10 pre-elite squads and a few vehicles and once they're gone thats it for their offensive efforts.

It kinda sucks when you have this really fun quick engagement early game but for people who like to battle of attrition it seems the AI just stops doing stuff, also I havent seen an AI titan since 1.88.7 came out.

Okay so it's atleast comforting to see that other people are experiencing this. As much as I love all the new additions to the mod and I really look forward to where it goes next. I'll have to go back to an older version pre-1.88.7 because having AI that doesn't really do anything is kind of breaking the point of playing with all these new gubbins.

I noticed in pervious versions I've had problems getting randomly alt tabbed. No crash, the game just minimizes itself. Is there a known cause? known solution?

The version does not work at all. I reinstalled it already 4 times from scratch. It crashes immediately after the introduction video of Soulstorm. Previously, the game crashed only because of the Sisters of the Battle, but now it just doesn’t even turn on. A very "charming" update.

I decided to help the developers in fixing bugs and shortcomings. I played for all races and revealed the following errors.

Dark Eldar: Void shield on flying titans does not work, although it is in the unit description.

Eldars: AI builds the second level of turrets (Heavy Weapons Support Platform). The player in the construction tab does not have this turret, and AI uses it in all. There is no void shield on flying titans (like the Dark Eldars), the shield does not work on conventional equipment , also some super-heavy tanks are not disguised as a "curtain".

Imperial Guard: In the last update, crowds began to create Taurox.

Necrons: Disguise of the Lord of the Necrons does not work on the Lord of the Necrons.

Empire of Tau: The shields that the builders erect do not work and, on the contrary, give a negative bonus to the protection of units and buildings (at least the shield icon is red).

P.S. I hope that the translator understood everything clearly.)

Please explain to me how a nemesis dreadnought can kill a Titan? This mod is horrifically unbalanced in multiplayer. Demons are beyond overpowered, the sisters of battle can become practically invincible, meanwhile the Imperial Guard are weaker this patch than last, space marines are too expensive compared to what you get unit wise in performance, I’d say the only race I enjoy using anymore is Necrons.

This mod isn’t bad but please, PLEASE do some balancing. It’s no fun to play alone, but it’s definitely not fun to play against others. I find that everyone wants to use the new races this mod adds but the balancing for those races is poor compared to the base game races and they end up being underpowered.

This is a great addition but Chaos Daemons are waaaaaay over powered now. Daemons on other AI team equals slow attrition loss. AI Daemon on my side equals easy win. Barely even need to play. Map Hell Lutien 2, Me SM, AIs on my side DE, CD, and E. AI on other side, E, E, IDH and CM. Game was over before even reached level 2. CD were all over E in slot 5. Stopped playing and game was quickly over. Same map, Me SM, AIs SM, CM and Nids. Other team AI DE, O, CM and CD. AI triple teamed me and CM, CD took on Nids and SM and won. I held my spot but CD were in Nids base and there was no way I could help. All on Standard diff.

Great update! :D .. sadly it's unplayable for me ;(

Why do no projectile animations not render? It can't be a win10 issue because all other games that can run render all stuff just fine. But for whatever reason none of the W40kDoW games/expansions (WA, DC, SS) render the projectile or spell effects at all. Any ideas why?

What a great mod! But i also experience the lack of AI playability. In the early game some races are insanely agressive, till mid game and end game usually every race, also yourteammates, tend to stuck. They rally at one stretegic point and stop doing anyrhing. Meanwhile their bases are crowded with units. They build them so uts impossible to pass by. Sad moment to see your fellow space marine land raiders stuck in their base, while all the astartes stuck somewhere at the map... They dont even react if you friendly fire them free with super weapons, the only thing happens is that they rebuild the building!!! This happens in basically every scenario (base stuck) lazy endgame ai in alike 95%. Sometimes orks on small maps are able to fight for a whole hour and continue producing troops and stay agressive. Tested in a like 100 scenarios - with all different ai strengths and map addons and races.

I really love this mod. Keep on the great work. I wish you fix the ai, since i was never able to find a multiplayer game. Thank you so much!
