A new video is up demonstrating the beta version of Stargazer.

Posted by on

Stargazer is a puzzle game where you can link up stars to create pictures. This is done by selecting stars, and when two are selected a line is drawn between them. There are two main modes, a Challenge Mode where you attempt to recreate images and a Free Mode where you can make your own challenges. The game also supports challenges created by players. This video shows off completing challenges, creating your own challenge and the new stat tracking feature in the game.

Check it out.

Very interesting concept, I like it a lot. It feels very immersive and peaceful. A very nice casual game to play.

I'm loving the music. Too bad the game's not my style. Still, I see potential. Good luck man.

Thanks for the comments. I'm definitely going for a laid back experience, but it can be harder to play than it looks!

Unfortunately the audio is a bit out of sync in this video, even though its fine in the original video that I uploaded, ah well. The youtube version seems to have fared better, I might try and embed that one instead:

The tones that play when you click a star are really nice, but kinda creepy. Also, the breeze sound at the end of a level is REALLY freaky, but this is very nice. A very atmospheric sound scheme. It really feels like I'm standing outside gazing at the stars on a cool night.

I'll try this game for sure.

I really like this idea.... What else could you do with the program?
Crop circles?
Paintings, or paint by number?
Very cool and good job
