Since the release of Alpha 1, we've had some big changes Gears of Eden coming from our Concept Art team and our updated rover model rendering from our internal Art Team. These changes have been both fun and exciting, with our artists sharing their vision with the rest of the team while we work towards new designs to add to the game.
We have also added interactive objects for the first time. Visually, these items are represented with a glow when the player hovers over them with the mouse. This has only been added to the workbench so far, but we are looking for forward to adding more interactive items to the game soon.
In the meantime, our writing team is busy with our new short story series. Of course, we are also keeping them busy with writing for the game and doing AI and space-based research so that we can keep the story both reality-based and interesting. Be sure to check our our first short story, "Robots Don’t Use Forks", along with more updates (and your podcast, Reaching Eden) for free on our Patreon site.
