We get the question is the mod Dead / Active? a lot now times.
We know we are inactive and lacking content but we got our own reasons. But there are reasons you have to know to! We don't want to support EA Games anymore so we are planning to move this MOD to a Stand-Alone Game. BUT we are still considering it if it's the right and maybe a faster way to do. This also means we can run this game on multiple platforms like PC / Mac / Linux.
(Please Note: We will keep the name and we will keep the game style! Nothing will change! Only the engine and maybe some extras).
Our plan is to create Assets for the MOD / Game so we have the eye pleasing part done before we can move on to another engine. Anyways For now I cannot promise anything. And I'am totally alone on this mod since some members are to busy with life.

Well, best of luck to you. Moving to another engine isn't a bad idea, since you will have more control over what you can or cannot do. There doesn't seem to be a CnC game on the horizon (unless you count Act of Aggression), so this will be a welcomed game. But don't get in over your heads. EA still owns the rights to the IP, so watch out for that.
This indeed. I suggest switching at least to a different name then C&C, as afaik EA still owns the rights to this. Not sure about Tiberium tho.
Anyway, best of luck with this. I'll keep an eye on this project :)
We will see what we can do. Some suggestions are always welcome :)
But we really want to keep the game theme with tiberium. Without EA's hassle.

I really hope this turns out into something epic, glad to see that this project is not dead.
Interesting idea with moving to TW. It will be more accessible and familiar to people. Not sure how you're gonna convince EA to release something standalone without a CM to mediate that like before, but I'm keeping fingers crossed for you! :)
Maybe just the name without Command & Conquer in it. I know it's difficult but look at Renegade X. No C&C in it. EA won't allowed it ether. They just want to keep their titles and let it die :( But I guess they don't own the name / term CNC (from cnc milling). or Command & Conqueror instead :)
I hope it works out for you, might need to change the name though.
This project seems too ambitous to be true, a part of me would really want it to succeed but i have a feeling it will be dead after a few years or months...

Look at C&C Renovatio and other mods who where great on paper and screenshots but who ultimately never made it to the finish line...
The problem is that people need to move on in life. And a big problem in the C&C Community is people not helping each other. The experienced ones are busy with their own projects. And the others are only after the models so they can use it in their own "projects".
But the frustration of pulling out some nice content and only getting messages about. "can u send me this model cuz i need it". And "plz send beta cuz i did other betas to". Even if you state in the posts we don't send models or we don't have beta's at all people still think we have or just send them the models. Instead of helping.
If you guys can pull it off i can only say hat's off to you (honest)
