One of our new mappers, Brandon, has been hard at work creating this mosque for the centerpiece of his new map. He served in the middle east for a while, so he was able to gather tons of pictures and concepts for his maps. Here's what he has to say about his past service:

I've currently served two combat tours in the Middle East - First in Afganihstan in 2002 and most recently returned from Iraq a few months ago. I'm in the 82nd Airborne Division. While in Afganihstan and Iraq, we conducted raids, partols, OP's, ambushes, and numerous other combat operations against our enemies. While in Iraq, my battalion was based in the difficult city of Fallujah. Our unit uses the most sophisicated night equipment available, so most operations were conducted at night-time. Serving in combat, I have earned two Combat Infantry Badges, two Army Commendation Medals, two combat service stripes, and numerous theatre ribbons for the Global War on terrorism.
