I've uploaded a new video showcasing some of the gameplay in Star-Twine. This is a skirmish match against the AI with commentary. In other news, LAN play has been added to the game and is now working!

I've uploaded a new video showcasing some of the gameplay in Star-Twine. This is a skirmish match against the AI with commentary. It gives an overview of the basics of gameplay and some of the strategy involved in the game.


In other news, LAN play has been added to the game and is now working, so you will be able to play against your friends! There will be more updates on multiplayer support soon.

This looks great! Interesting building design. The avatar feels almost to much like a ghost. It would be better if it bounced more and the place you were building on could be done at a small distance with a glowing string to represent where you're building. Great job though, this game is very unique and interesting.

Thanks for the feedback! You can actually build things at a small distance currently, although there's no glowing string indicating where you're building currently. It just picks the closest available spot. That's something I might consider adding in later though!

I'm not planning on having a public beta. Release is set for the April 29th and there will be a demo version available as well.
