Contrary to my previous future plans announcements, I will actually be announcing less features of the mod. But don't be alarmed.
This week, I've done some thinking about the future of this mod. A harsh realism that dangles above me is that this production prevents my own self from taking my 3D modelling skills further. Basically, I'm stuck back in 2006.
Because I don't feel well with the idea of scrapping the mod, I wish to finish this. But I also have to realize that the prospect of creating "the most detailed Titanic ever" has been long gone. If it wasn't for "Titanic Honor and Glory", a million other Titanics would've already beaten me to that. And besides, I'm pretty confident that the majority of my audience wouldn't bother about whether or not a chair leg or door hinge was modelled 100% accurate. James Cameron's Titanic wasn't accurate, and no one cared about that either including myself.
So with that in mind. I've decided to scrap any non essential areas from the to-do list. Leaving only the corridors and areas critical to the storyline. Any remaining areas may be added later on after the mod has been released, and íf I still feel like it.
So for now, I'll just focus on implementing everything done so far into the game, and then finishing the few areas left to model.
The progress chart has been changed a little bit as well. Now marked in blue, shows the areas which have been implemented in game and are completely done.
