I have just finished my first and last ETF egofragger movie, it's 55% nice and 45% bad things I found fastforwarding through some of my etf demos.
The main ETF Public server called Kindergarten has a new website which lists the rules for the server which they are strict about .
Some newbies may find it not funny to be kicked from a public server but some players take a hard line towards things on server such as Yard DM ,Yard Sniping Sentrys etc..
Basically the game has some unwritten rules which everyone follows to be polite.
Instead of fighting everyone on the map the offence players do not usually attack other offence players in the yard area i.e the area between the 2 bases as it is considered unsportsmanlike..
In essence the offence attacks the defence and vice versa its no fun getting to the enemy base with no health so thats why the rules cam einto being.
Same with the yarding incidents.. it may all sound so stupid .. but it does make the game a lot better to play.
Although these rules go out of the window if the flag is dropped in the yard area then its a free for all :)
