Finally, I've just finished the main code of the new secondary ammo for the Cyber Rifle. The concept is a bit weird, but at least it's original and works quite well. I just have to spend some time polishing it, with better sounds, visual effects, and also, specify a damage type to make it work properly with the complex AW Armor system.
When you fire, a portal appears at the place you've shot. And then, a bullet-like projectile is launched. As soons as it hits a surface or a character, it tells the portal a coordinate. And then this portal explodes, launching a few cool acid projectiles, which will hit the coordinate. But, before they hit, they'll spread out. Confusing? Crazy? Yeah, but it's amazing! It's Unreal after all.
I still have to decide a new name for this ammo (as well as for the Armor-piercing ammo, Artic Wind alternate ammo). Right now they're called Nemesis rounds, which was the name I was using for the infection-like ammo, which was the old concept.
