The English version bases upon the Nehrim version 1.0.7.5 and should provide you a fairly bug-free game experience. Please consider the installation and start instructions in the ReadMe file. Hmm, i click new game and it immediatly takes me back to the menu. The german version i installed a month ago did the same thing.
I've got same error. English version of the game (collector's edition if it matters) with last patch.
There is possible solution (at least it helped me). Run NehrimLauncher.exe from mod's folder, choose Data Files and enable all 3 modules listed there.
After having played for a bit under 2 hours I have to say, so far, it's amazing. Like a whole new free game. Outstanding work.
The only issues I've run into are that some text is still in German (there was a note in the starting mines that was entirely in german). Other than that there are some framerate drops at parts but nothing serious or gamebreaking so far. Well done.

I am sorry to say that I find this incredibly buggy. The first time I D/L it and installed, the loading bar was blank and white, and where my mouse cursor should be, was a 1cm white square. I was not able to select to start a new game or anything. I downloaded a second time, reinstalled, this time the loading bar was red as it should be, but I still had a white square for a cursor. So I really cannot tell what the game is like, as I can't get into it. Some kind of patch is needed, as I didn't see anything in the readme about the game being incompatible with a Logitech mouse and keyboard.
Not a bug. You just have to read the Readme. Activate the data files within the Nehrim launcher: Nehrim.esm, NehrimData.esp and NehrimEnglish.esp
Actually I followed the readme to the letter. I am a highly experienced beta tester, so I am always careful in that respect. The files were all checked, otherwise how would the game have even started and got to the loading menu?
SureAI, when I started I noticed that my characters eyes were facing some wierd directions and when I fell I couldn't move. :(
(also I noticed when I loaded up oblivion without the mod, that the menu was still the mod, will this prehaps interfer with other stuff or just that..?)
SPOILER: In order to move you have to equip a torch. It sort of tells you this in the journal entry that pops up.
Did you alter vanilla textures a lot? I'm asking this because my graphic card was barely good enough to run vanilla oblivion, so I need to know if you have improved the textures significantly?
Possible bug: most of the NPCs in the game automatically have 100 disposition towards me. My personality and speechcraft are very low andI am that elf race that no one likes. Shouldnt people hate me?

Can you start a new game with this while still being able to play the original game on an already saved game?
No, I cannot start a new game at all with Nehrim because of the lack of mouse cursor, but Oblivion is fine.
I cannot start a new game, when I press New Game and then Yes it treats it as No. Any idea why?

Hello i got a simple but i guess a good questin. Is this project an Expansion type Addon, like you start in a different area or did you make it like an Expansion towards the game like Shivering Isles, how you go through a portal and appear on a new world?
