I think i'm not the only one that thinks that people should put alot more work into what they are doing and then release media.
I have seen FAR too many mods release TOO EARLY media of their unfinished maps and i am really sick and tired of it by now.

I agree totally with everyone here these screens are very bad.
If your looking for a good mod, with amazing screesn why not go to Final Escape (hl2) and be inspired!!!
Mrksmt, is that what you call PR? :| if so, i guess standards just aren't as high as they could be. using some criticism of another mod to try and get attention for your own is pathetic, really.
I totally agree about how its kinda pointless putting media out that doesnt really show much, but I don't see how it's going to help by just giving them ****. Every single mod should be encouraged and critisized in the most constructive way possible, if something sucks, explain why and what you think they could do to improve, not just be an arrogant *** and say "this is gay"

you ruined a mod that could have been a lot more.
as far as what could be encouraged, i think it's fairly obvious, and if it's not then maybe they should reconsider their PR. making a hallway is a very simple thing for any mapper... if they want to show off their maps, how about showing something really cool? look at the media updates involving maps for most other mods... they're showing off their mappers' skill with beautiful architecture. if that's the best their mapper can do, they might want to consider getting someone else for the job. i agree that constructive criticism is the best criticism, but there's a point in which such "media updates" become comical more than anything, so i treat it as such. this would have been a good april fool's joke, to be honest.
