Here, you'll find the latest on Frontier's progress and what's been done during the last month.

The past month, Frontier has grown steadily, as usual. Mostly, I've started building the northern forests, which takes time but can be quite tedious. It always ends up looking really great though; with snowfall, small misty forests ponds and untended, deep woods. These are the areas inhabited by the barbarian tribes and I've also created a few of their base camps already. All the tribes will have larger capitals as well.

Work has been done on LOD and mountains to make things in the distance look good. A lot of work has been done on interiors too. I still have quite a few undone interiors. This is the area where modders often fail. They create too large and impressive exteriors, but when it comes to creating all the interiors that have to go with it, they lose interest. The secret is simply to not create too extensive exteriors as to not lose interest.

I've released two videos the past month showing off Frontier. The first one, can be viewed here, and the second one, providing a tour of the capital of the Frontier, Anvil Nova, can be viewed here. Stay tuned. The beta is some time away still, but I'm really working as fast as I can. As always, read the development blog for the latest.

Nice to see steady progress!I agree about interiors, they can be quite boring when only one person is working on them :p

I actually sometimes have to delete houses and other features that look good but I never have a chance of finishing. It feels like killing my own beloved children, but sometimes it needs to be done. Part of the artform is to create the stuff within the given, logical frames, especially being a single modder. It's hard, but part of the deal.

Three. Me, myself and I. :D I do all the landscaping, interiors and background and quest-writing. Resources are mostly made by other people though and the mod will be having an extensive list of credits. I already use resources for trees, buildings and statics created by other modders and shared. Weapons and armour added to Frontier are chosen with great care and I've already added some pretty good stuff to the mod.
