Post news Report RSS Monthly Overview - February 2010

Welcome to our second monthly overview! As promised the last time, we will keep on releasing monthly reviews every last Saturday of the month. We haven't released any media yet this month, although we our modelers and skinners have been working around the clock. The result of their hard work can be seen later on in this overview. We're going to start of with the introduction of several new team members, who will be assisting us further into developing our mod.

Serran joined the team as a 2D and a 3D artist, who's work will be seen later on. It's fair to say Serran has enough talent and skill to stun both the public as the developers themselves.

The next person on our list, is Doombringer a 2D artist who will provide in-game artwork, such as icons and interface buttons. Doombringer is already well-known in the German modding community, and he is also known for his work in the Blitzkrieg and Battle of the Bulge mods.

WartyX has also joined the team as a 2D artist, and will be working side-to-side with Doombringer. WartyX is also known for his in-game artwork in the Eastern Front mod.

Last up is DannyHavok, who is a skilled 2D and 3D artist. DannyHavok has three years of experience with Maya, and has already proven himself with his phenomenal 2D and 3D skills.

Let's give them all a warm and kind welcome!

Of course, we also got eye candy to show to our public. Starting out with a reskin of one of the smaller, if not the smallest, vehicle in the Modern Combat mod, the All-Terrain Vehicle. This vehicle will function like the Kettenrad in the original Company of Heroes, although it's equipped with a weak machine gun for limited self-defense purposes.

Our second vehicle packs a lot more firepower then the ATV. The M109 'Paladin' 155mm howitzer, is an armored self propelled howitzer, comparable to the Commonwealth M7 Priest in the original Company of Heroes.

WartyX is working on this mod? Awesome! I can't wait to see how great this mod will be. But it seem that I must wait and during that time, I will try to crush as many Soviets or Nazis as I can (I play both side, but I love Wehrmacht more, Wehrmacht, not Nazis).
