Now available - A one button, 2vs2 sport game that features a Monster-Ball crafted by French students

Angoulême, France – MonsterBall League is a 2 versus 2 local multiplayer game available freely from now on here, on IndieDB and on The aim of the player is to throw a ball into the opponent's goal. So what's new then? The ball is a tiny monster that doesn't like very much to be beaten. Often, during a game, the ball transforms itself and tries to throw the players into their own goals.

One button, one Joystick
MonsterBall League has the particularity to use only one button (A on an Xbox controller). The button allows you to pass the ball, shoot, and strike your enemy with a simple or a loaded hit.

@MBL_GAME - Twitter included
The game features a twitter feed. Using @MBL_Game during a game will display the tweets on the bottom of the arena. Because it’s a sport game and comments need to be done in the action, it will only display the 3 last tweets on the feed. MonsterBall League is one of the first games that display dynamic commentaries thanks to social media.

A student Game
The game has been developed by us, a team of 6 persons during a bit less than 3 months. It is our first year project from the ENJMIN, the only national public school dedicated to videogames in France. We are really happy to share it with you and we hope you will have fun playing it!

Technical Informations

  • The game is for windows.
  • It is only playable with 4 players and Xbox controllers (you can use other pads configured with an Xbox controller emulator).
