That's right folks, to further increase the through put of creative ability and to further bolster the possibilities of future updates to the game engine, here for all to use (if you can work out how to???) is the Monster Editor [Version 2].
The program itself was designed and created by the community of Manic Digger and true to Open source thinking it's very existence puts the power of game model creation into the hands of the games users. So, If you ever wanted a Unicorn to ride or an evil octopus overlord to bring fear and pain to the lands this is the chance to create it!
I firmly believe that "if you think something is missing / wrong; then do something about it!" and with the very way in which this game is created and coded, I challenge anyone that sees potential, or sees erroneous things to instead of moaning, complaining or generally hating on the games one and only coder to instead get off their metaphorical fat arse and do something about it! :-)
I expect to have weird and wonderful new characters and monsters posted up soon!
pps: re; fire pimp image. After an attack on the Manic Digger wiki, the entry "fire imp" was altered maliciously to "fire pimp". I just thought I'd pay homage to that; also, I quite like the idea of the fire pimp as an enemy, he'd roam the lands saying things like 'fo sho!' and 'heeey man wassup?!' but, he's an evil being, he only survives on massive amounts of gold and will slowly head toward any blocks of gold that you have stored anywhere so that he can consume them!
Epic can't wait to download the monster editor :)
