High-poly models won't have any advantages against low-poly models would they?
well obviously if the higher poly ones look better then yea
A Model contest without any polygon limit is simply useless you cannot compare low poly with high poly. And in addition that here at moddb.com who the hell models promo art? I mean everyone has got to stick to a certain polygon limit and such a high poly contest like we know it from cgtalk is simply wrong here I think..
I think this is a good idea. Just because you have an expensive program and can make high poly models fast, that doesn't mean they're good... I'm making mine in qME. As long as the high-poly models aren't judged better simply because they have more polygons :P
LOL QME, are you serious?
hey Dieblein, i model commercial work.
