Post news RSS MK Status Update: Faction Previews and Progress

I have some things to talk about regarding the mod.

Hey guys, Warman here!

For starters, I'd once again like to thank everyone for supporting this mod. It's people like you that keep us going when it's all said and done. Anyways, where to start? Well we have another new team member, Slytacular! He's going to be helping us out with the Scandinavian factions as well as supplementing any custom models we need for that can't come from other means. So at some point you'll see his work now too.

I'm also changing up the system of how I present faction units. If it's closer to be a Work in Progress, I'll post a screen of it in the screenshots section. If it's closer to finalized, I'll post a faction preview in the features section. Case and Point, I've added our newest faction preview to the aforementioned section, Armenian Cilicia! Check it out here;

I'm going to repost the English and Georgian previews there soon as well. So every now and then, expect some non-updates if you will. Kudos to Ltd. for his hard work with some of these factions. Also Ltd. might have a Seijuk preview on TWC soon guys. ;) I myself have been working on the French factions. I'm about 2/3s done with France itself not counting Burgundy, Toulouse and Provence(the last of which is going to be a French clone mostly) I have most of the assets done, it's just rearranging them to make the units at this point. I'm back in school now so my progress will slow down a bit, but I don't think it'll be too much to stop me completely. (DON'T QUOTE ME ON THAT THOUGH)

Lastly, I've seen people ask me about a release date. Like I've said before, it's too soon to say anything. Honestly I wouldn't of even brought this up here if it wasn't for this little thing. Please take this with a grain of salt. Next year is Medieval 2's 10th Anniversary. Wouldn't it be nice if another Medieval thing came out on the same day?
