Hello Minecrafters!!
We just pushed the buttons on Google Play and iOS AppStore so hopefully, really really soon, you will have the new update in our hands. It takes some time for the game to propagate on the servers.

MCPE is finally coming a long nicely. Whilst some phones and tablets are weaker I am hoping that they pull of some caves as I've tested it on my phone with a cave mod and it worked fine. Either way the sky is a really nice change as the old one seemed a bit sad and empty. The new available blocks are also nice. I'm hoping that they can remove the nether reactor and replace it with a legitimate nether realm. I'm also hoping for infinite worlds but I suppose that will come in time. Either way, this was a nice update and it's nice to finally see a major update for the game.
What I don't get is why the xbox and pocket edition are limited in space. The xbox is around 1000 blocks squared, the pocket edition is 100 or 200 I think. But, I have played games on my phone that have infinite boundaries and more things combine from both editions. The only thing I can think of is, that they still want people to buy the computer version.
